Which language alphabets can Leapwork OCR recognize?
Leapwork OCR can recognize language alphabets in 11 different languages. Users can find the list of available languages under the Language dropdown menu in the Find text and Get text building blocks. Reference the following screenshots:
Leapwork is constantly working to extend the OCR capabilities for additional language alphabet support. As a workaround, to support OCR recognition for other languages:
- Search for the word preceding or following the word, which doesn’t have any special letters or symbols.
- Use image recognition instead of text recognition.
Note: Leapwork offers integration support for the ABBYY engine, as Overall FineReader Engine 11 supports more than 200 OCR languages.
