Overview
The article details Leapwork automation capabilities for PDF files opened in Adobe Acrobat. This beta-level enhancement allows for comprehensive interaction with PDF elements such as text, images, and tables within documents up to 40 pages in length.

Known Issues and Limitations
- Beta Release: This version of the PDF Adapter is in beta. Users may encounter issues not yet identified during initial testing phases. We are committed to rapid iterations and improvements based on user feedback.
- Document Length Restriction: Currently, the adapter supports automating PDF files of up to 40 pages. This limitation is under review, and we aim to extend support for longer documents in future updates.
- Adobe Acrobat Known Issue: If the user tries to capture the menu items in Adobe Acrobat Reader available in the 'Tools' header such as 'Create PDF', 'Combine Files', 'Edit PDF' etc., the user will be first required to open the ‘Change Reading Option’ or the 'Preferences' option once and then try to capture the elements of the toolbar, as this is a limitation of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Feedback-Driven Development: As we refine and enhance the PDF Adapter's capabilities, user feedback is invaluable. We encourage users to report any issues, suggest improvements, and share their use cases to guide our development efforts.
