How to update data in already selected Excel file

How to update data in already selected Excel file

Introduction
Leapwork allows users to perform Data driven testing using the Excel block, it's very easy to add an excel file using the "Read Excel" block, however, users must understand the below scenarios using which users can update the content of already used excel files.

Scenario 1: User selects Data File and defines a Range
When a user selects a data file option to upload excel and define a Range then the excel file with the data and selected range is stored in Leapwork and the uploaded file will NOT be available for further editing inside Leapwork.

Solution: In this case, the user can 1) Re-upload the file with the updated Data and define the range again, or 2) User can attach another excel file and drag and drop the newly attached file to the Read Excel block.

Scenario 2: User selects Local path and defines a Range
When a user selects a Local Path option and defines a Range in an excel file then the excel file with the data and selected range is always referred from the Local Path in Leapwork and the referred excel file will always be available for further editing of content.

Note: If the user updates content on an already defined range, then the test will run with updated data. In case more rows/columns have been added to the excel file then the range should be defined again.
