How to hide the “Leapwork extension started debugging this browser” message from the Chrome and Edge?

Solution
After enabling the Leapwork Extensions in Chrome and Edge, you will get the Leapwork extension started debugging this browser message.

To hide this message from the Browser window, follow the below steps.

Chrome Settings

1. Right-click the icon from where you launch Chrome. If you are launching the Chrome browser from multiple places, e.g., from the taskbar, Desktop, or the programs menu, you will need to follow these instructions for each shortcut you use.

2. Click Properties.

3. Add --silent-debugger-extension-api after.../chrome.exe Make sure to add it after the closing quote of chrome.exe.

4. Repeat for other Chrome shortcuts you use.

5. Exit Chrome and launch it from one of the launchers/icons you have updated. Chrome is ready to use.

Edge Settings

1. Right-click the icon from where you launch Edge. If you are launching the Edge browser from multiple places, e.g., from the taskbar, Desktop, or the programs menu, you will need to follow these instructions for each shortcut you use.

2. Click Properties.

3. Add --silent-debugger-extension-api after.../msedge.exe. Make sure to add it after the closing quote of msedge.exe.

4. Repeat for other Edge shortcuts you use.

5. Exit Edge and launch it from one of the launchers/icons you have updated. Edge is ready to use.
