How to handle Popup windows in IE Browser

A Browser Helper Object is a DLL module designed as a plugin for Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser to provide added functionality. BHOs were introduced in October 1997 with the release of version 4 of Internet Explorer. Most BHOs are loaded once by each new instance of Internet Explorer.

In a few scenarios the IE browser abruptly closes, while opening a new tab or pop-up window where BHO is implemented.

Please follow the steps to fix this issue.

Step 1: Open Internet Explorer browser and click on settings.

Step 2: And click on Internet option.

Step 3: Make sure that “Turn on Pop-up Blocker“ is unchecked under the “Privacy” menu.

Step 4: Click on the Tabs button.

Step 5: Click on “Always open pop-ups in a new tab” and click OK button.
