How to handle Basic Authentication for different browsers ?

Chrome, Firefox, and IE

The basic authentication process for both Chrome and Firefox browsers can be done by appending the username and password in the URL of the page. Here is a link to a video tutorial explaining how to carry out the basic authentication for the Chrome browser, Click here.

The Basic authentication with username and password in the URL requires some settings in IE. Kindly refer to the video tutorial.

Edge

For Edge browser, Basic authentication cannot be carried out directly as there are some issues with Microsoft Edge Windows Integrated Authentication (as per Microsoft community). So to make the authentication process work for the Edge browser, users can follow an alternative approach as shown in the screenshot below which uses Image Text and Recognition Building Blocks along with the Web Automation Building Blocks.
