# How to Create a D.O.B. (Date Of Birth) value using Leapwork?

Entering a user's Date of Birth has always been an essential component for a user to sign up on any web or desktop application. This is especially true in cases where an application may have age restrictions. Thus testing such flows is a must for ensuring a smooth User experience.

With the use of this ready-to-use flow (D.O.B. Generator), QA Testers can quickly import this flow within Leapwork and be able to generate a random date of birth (D.O.B.) for their test cases.

### How to Create a D.O.B. (Date Of Birth) value using Leapwork?

We can follow the following steps:

**Step 1-** We will use Generate Number Blocks to generate (Date/Month/Year) and we can choose the range as (Minimum and Maximum) as per our requirements.

**Step 2-** We will concatenate the result values from each generate block in the log message to their respective Field 1/2/3. The format of the DOB can be modified by changing the blue connectors from result value to respective Field 1/2/3 of the Log message.

**Step 3-** We can run the flow to generate a random Date of Birth (D.O.B.) as shown below:
