How to activate Leapwork license without internet access?

Introduction
All the licenses are installed on the Controller using Studio as the interface. These licenses are applied and activated as part of the installation process or added after acquiring more Agents to a Controller.

The active license configuration is available at Settings > License Management.

Add a New License
Adding additional resources to an existing license (example: additional Agents) is possible by contacting Leapwork. Leapwork will issue a new subscription covering the additional components, which you can add using the Add License button.

To add license, click Add license. The add license Key window appears.

Note: If you are not having internet access then Copy the above URL and paste it into a browser with internet access. It will ask you to fill in the Email and password which is linked to your Leapwork license as shown below.

Get License Key
After logging in, enter following details to generate a new license key.

  1. Select an active subscription.
  2. In Generate license key for, select a license type. It is possible to generate license keys for Agents only and add them to an existing Controller.
  3. Specify the number of Agents to add to the license, unless the license type is Controller only.
  4. Click Get license key.
  5. Click Copy license key to copy the license key.

Note: If you are having a standalone license type (or 1 agent left), enter 1 in the number of agents field.

Add License

  1. In the studio, select the link.
  2. Paste the generated license key into the Add License Key field.
  3. Click OK. This will add the license to the License overview for the Controller.

Each license will clearly display the agreed configuration as well as duration.
