# How to obtain Udid in Appium

**Introduction:**  
In this article, you will learn how you can obtain the Udid of the connected iOS device using the below path on the Appium host machine:

Navigate to the Path: Finder > Locations  
You can refer to the image below for guidance on locating the UDID:

Click on device name to view the UDID:
