## Prerequisites for automating MS Teams application using Leapwork

**Introduction**  
You must meet the prerequisites to automate Microsoft Teams application in Leapwork.

**Prerequisites**  
- Uncheck the checkbox from MS Teams application settings. It helps to automate teams in better manner.

- All the manual instances of MS Teams should be closed before starting the automation using Leapwork, else an error may occur: **Only one instance can be running.**  
- The Teams application window size should be 100% Zoom.

- Do not capture the Teams application while it is in pinned state on taskbar.  
- When you capture the Teams application from taskbar (in running state and not in pinned state), it will not give any arguments. If you capture the teams opened in a window, then there is a chance of arguments (depends on the running state of Teams application).  
- Leapwork may take time to open Teams application. This can happen if Teams application is running slow (depends on machine hardware capability).  
- To automate using Leapwork, Chrome driver for MS Teams should be 102.  
- Use path: **C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams\current\Teams.exe** to invoke MS Teams using the 'Start Electron Application' building block.
