This service release focuses on stability and reliability improvements across Studio, Web automation, Run Lists, and Leapwork Cloud.

🚀Introducing Leapwork 2025.2.200 – Built for Scale: Simplified Dynamics 365 (D365) Fusion migration and Domain-Level control

Leapwork 2025.2.200 focuses on enterprise automation stability and usability. This Service Release introduces tighter domain-level control in Active Directory configurations, cleaner field validation in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Recorder, smarter Set block behaviour, and more accessible Fusion migration pathways in Studio.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The Leapwork installer includes the required .NET 6 Desktop Runtime for both Studio and Agent.

This Service Release is built for teams managing complex environments and large-scale test suites; offering more predictable AD configuration, safer validations, and smoother Fusion upgrades.

🚨New Features

Fusion Migration for D365 F&O: Leapwork now makes it easier than ever to upgrade your existing D365 F&O automation to the Fusion engine. A new Migrate to option has been added to the right-click context menu in Studio’s File Explorer, located just below Run Now.

This enhancement enables users to:

• Migrate older D365 F&O flows built with Web Blocks to Fusion format with minimal effort.
• Leverage Leapwork’s latest capabilities while maintaining backward compatibility.
• Simplify modernization with step-by-step flow duplication, in-browser Fusion recording, and direct save to Studio.

Notes:

• Migration is available for single flows only (not batch operations).
• It runs using the Local Agent exclusively.
• Non-web blocks in the flow will be automatically skipped during migration.

🛠️ Feature Enhancements

“Set value by” attribute in Studio blocks for D365 F&O: A new Set value by configuration is now available in the Set (dropdown, radio button, combo box) blocks specifically for D365 F&O flows. This feature allows users to choose between selecting values by label (Text) or position (Index), enabling more precise and reliable UI automation.

Active Directory Domain Configuration: Admins can now configure and overwrite domain settings directly within Active Directory settings.

RSAT to Leapwork Migration Enhancements: Improved handling of RSAT files with better block conversion logic, reliable dropdown value mapping, and prevention of unwanted block insertions.

🐞 Bugs & Improvements

• Fixed an issue where the ‘Body’ field in the HTTP Request block no longer accepted encrypted (password) inputs when authentication was set to ‘None’.
• Avoid disruptions while recording in D365 F&O, this fix improves accuracy and stability, giving you more reliable recordings from the start.
• Corrected a problem where dropdown values were being set using index values instead of visible text, causing execution failures.
• Resolved an issue where a “Select Row” block was added to flows automatically without user interaction.
• Fixed a bug where the Leapwork Cloud Agent VM launched with the Autologin screen and failed to pick the correct resolution.
• Addressed an issue causing scheduled executions on Leapwork Cloud to remain stuck in the “running” state.
• Fixed incorrect browser assignment where the D365 Fusion Login block defaulted to Edge, even when the flow was recorded in Chrome.
• Resolved an unhandled “ You are not authorized…” error during migration of D365 flows from Edge browser.
• Prevented Reader Access users from being able to modify Fusion migration flows, ensuring proper access control.
• Fixed a regression where Studio and Controller services were missing after upgrading from .NET 8 to the service release.
• Fixed a Leapwork Cloud execution issue where scheduled flows failed with the message “ Unexpected error while running the flow“.
• Fixed an issue where the Type Web Text block failed after finding the element in Workday scripts, restoring compatibility with flows that worked in earlier builds.
