Close Browser

The Close browser building block closes any open browser windows that were launched during an automation flow for Salesforce applications. It is typically used to clean up the test environment, reset browser state, or ensure that no unwanted sessions remain open between or after runs.

Note: The layout shown in some documentation is part of the Elegance Design , introduced in Leapwork 2025.3. Earlier versions may display a different layout.

Quick-start

1. Drag Close browser onto the canvas.
2. Connect the block in the flow. Optionally, connect Fail to an alternate cleanup or error-handling path.
3. Run the flow when it's ready.

• Block header : The green input connector triggers the block when the flow reaches it. The green output connector triggers once the browser window has been successfully closed. You can rename the block title ("Close browser") by double-clicking it and typing a new title.

• Fail: Triggers if the browser cannot be closed within the configured timeout period, allowing the flow to continue through an alternate path or run cleanup logic when the close operation fails.
