Install Mobile Application

The Install Mobile Application building block installs an application on a mobile device.

Fully expanded, the Install Mobile Application block shows the following properties:

Quick-start

1. Drag Install Mobile Application onto the canvas.
2. Connect the block in the flow and optionally specify Path to file, Text fields, Default timeout, Timeout (sec), Bundle Id.
3. Run the flow when it's ready.

Building block parameters

Parameters

• Block header : The green input connector triggers the block to start executing. The green output connector triggers when the mobile application has been successfully installed. The block title ("Install Mobile Application") can be renamed by double-clicking it and typing a new title.

• Path to file : Provides the location of the application file to install. You can type the path directly or click the ellipsis menu (... ) to select the path.

• Text fields : Key--value fields that let you insert external values into Path to file via Insert token . Fields can be renamed by double-clicking them, and any inserted tokens update their visual appearance accordingly.

• Default timeout : Controls whether the block uses the flow's default timeout or a fixed timeout. If the checkbox is not selected, the timeout is 60 seconds . If the checkbox is selected, the Default timeout value from the flow settings applies.

• Timeout : The maximum time spent locating the path and installing the mobile application before giving up. This block timeout is separate from the case global timeout in Settings , which can cancel a run if the whole case exceeds it.

• Bundle Id: The bundle ID (bundle identifier) that represents the mobile application's unique identifier.
