Generate date/time
The Generate date/time building block generates a date/time value containing the current system date and time.
Fully expanded, the Generate date/time block shows the following properties:

Quick-start
- Drag Generate date/time onto the canvas.
- Connect the block in the flow. Trigger it where you need the current date/time, and use Date/time later in the flow. Optionally, you can expand and use the individual date and time parts.
- Run the flow when it’s ready.
Building block parameters
Parameters
Block header: The green input connector triggers the block to execute and generate the current date/time value. The green output connector triggers when the date/time value has been generated. You can rename the block title (“Generate date/time”) by double-clicking it and typing a new title.
Date/time: The current system date/time value. You can expand it to use the individual date and time values separately, including Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute, and Second (and Millisecond where available).
