Leapwork allows the PDF files to be read using the Desktop UI blocks. To be able to perform read operations, "Assistive technology support" must be enabled inside PDF reader settings.

## Enable Automation in PDF Files

Follow below steps to enable this feature.

1. Open any PDF file.

2. From the **Edit** options menu, choose **Preferences**.

3. In preferences, open **Accessibility.**

4. Check **Enable assistive technology support**.

5. Press **OK**.
