Become a Leapwork Certified Professional
Complete our training and exams to earn your Leapwork certification and demonstrate your expertise in test automation.
Certification process
1. Complete Training
Complete the online training course, along with all respective assignments.
2. Gain experience
We recommend gaining hands-on experience and building confidence with Leapwork before registering for the exam.
3. Register for exam
Fill out the form below on this page, and we’ll contact you to schedule your exam.
4. Get your certificate
Take the exam, earn a passing grade, and receive your certificate and badge.
Certification levels
For each level, you’ll participate in a live, instructor-led online course covering essential core topics, with one additional application-specific topic for the first two levels and two additional topics for the Expert level.
Application-specific topics are selected by your organization based on the technologies you use, ensuring training aligns with your unique use case.
Fundamental certification
Core topics covered:
- Introduction to Leapwork
- Data-driven test automation
- Data handling & manipulation
- Introduction to strategy concepts
- Target application specific questions (e.g., Web, Desktop, Salesforce)
Exam format: Multiple-choice quiz consisting of 30 questions, to be completed within 45 minutes.
Passing criteria: 75% correct answers.

Advanced certification
Core topics covered (In addition to those in the Fundamental certification):
- Monitoring & scheduling
- Version management & sharing
- DevOps integration
- Advanced-level questions related to your target application (e.g., Web, Desktop, Salesforce).
Exam format: Multiple-choice quiz consisting of 30 questions, to be completed within 45 minutes.
Passing criteria: 75% correct answers.

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE
- Desktop applications
- Virtual applications
- DevOps
Expert certification
Core topics covered (In addition to those in the Advanced certification):
- Account administration & user management
- Leapwork settings
Exam format:
- Phase 1: An online quiz with 40 questions, to be completed within 60 minutes.
- Phase 2: A practical exercise where participants submit a Leapwork flow along with an explanation of their chosen approach.
Participants must pass Phase 1 to advance to Phase 2.
Passing criteria:
- Phase 1: 75% correct answers.
- Phase 2: Submission and evaluation of the Leapwork flow.

FAQ
- How much does the Leapwork Professional Certification cost?
The Leapwork Fundamental and Advanced Certifications cost $99 each, and the Expert Certification is $499. After you complete the registration process, an invoice will be issued to the company specified during sign-up.
- How long is the Leapwork Certification valid?
The Leapwork Certification is valid for three years. After this period, you will need to retake the exam.
- What happens if I fail the certification exams?
If you do not pass the exam, you can retake it up to two additional times at no extra charge. For more information on this, please contact certification@leapwork.com.
